So little time to get ready, and thankfully the list-of-things-to-buy can be small too!
Here are some of my favourite products!
1. The haakaa. It's a pretty amazing little tool to be able to collect milk while never pumping, but check with a doula or someone re: strategy to see if this would be a good fit for you.
2. Invest in a good sound machine. (This one's great too, and so is this one. A portable white noise machine is great too!)
3. Interested in learning all about sleep? Sleep training? Un-sleep training?? The 'Taking Cara Babies' program is *the best*.
4. I love swaddles and I want all the muslins all the time. Plus, they can act as baby-carriers and spit-up-cloths and poop-explosion-savers and so many more fun things. (Be sure to get some flannel too if you want to do the double swaddle.)
5. If you insist on getting 'pre-made' swaddles/sleep sacks, definitely check out Halo.
6. Already thinking about getting your baby out of a swaddle/sleep sack? I love love LOVE this magic suit!!
7. Maybe you've got that big, lovely change pad, but having some waterproof change pads (or straight up puppy pads) to leave around the house to change in other places can be a great idea too.
8. I often get asked about baby products (shampoo, lotion, oil, etc.) but I think whatever you're comfortable using on your baby is perfect but I do really like the Weleda line of products.
9. These are my favourite baby wipes but remember to air-dry after using to avoid rashes!
10. This is a tub that I think is pretty good -- it's one that could grow with your family.
11. Boba wraps are the go-to for lots of families and I love them! You can explore a less expensive option like this one, but they're literally all the same.
12. An electric nail trimmer for babe like this would be awesome!
