The postpartum period can be such a beautiful time, but it is also a time for deep healing and rest.
Here are some suggestion from HealthLine that I love (
and you can find the full article here).
But for specific recovery tips based on your birth, *please* follow all of your care providers' guidance.

And with postpartum mood disorders, please also talk with your care team
(family, medical care provider, doula, other healthcare practitioners).
It truly does "take a village" to do this, and what you're doing is a big thing and is not easy.
Here are some postpartum resources in our community and a few infographics about postpartum mood.

(And remember, everyone who's given birth is/has 'postpartum' (for ex: "Yeah, I heard So-And-So had really bad postpartum") so I try to use the specific terms like 'postpartum anxiety' or 'postpartum depression' when I speak about what someone may be experiencing)
I think language can be a really powerful way to heal and connect, which is why I encourage this small shift.
